These two get compared constantly because both promise "everything in one place" for email-driven businesses. But their pricing pages describe two different products, and the difference matters more than any feature checklist.
Systeme.io prices by tier, flat. $17/month buys 5,000 contacts and every core feature; the free plan is not a trial — 2,000 contacts, unlimited email sends, 3 funnels, forever. The catch is in the limits grid: 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign on Free means real marketing work starts at Startup.
GetResponse prices by list size, like classic email platforms. The $19/month Starter is for 1,000 contacts — grow the list and the price grows with it (we have not yet recorded the higher slider tiers, so we won't quote them). What you get for the money is a more conventional, deeper email product: the segmentation and ecommerce tooling on its Marketer tier, $59/month, have no real equivalent at Systeme.io's $17 level. Both figures here are the US ones; GetResponse charges in local currency elsewhere (€16 in the EU, £13 in the UK) while Systeme.io quotes $17 worldwide.
