Airtable vs Superlist: the two ladders touch at one point and nowhere else

How to read this page: every number below was read from the vendor’s own public pricing page on the date shown, and the pages are re-checked daily. Currencies differ because that is what each vendor showed an EU visitor. Some links on this page are affiliate links — if you subscribe through one we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Per our method, that never changes a number or a verdict. Source links always point to the vendor’s plain page.

What the record says

Four paid figures, in order: $5, $20, $21, $45. The interesting thing is how little they interleave. Superlist's cheapest is $15 below Airtable's cheapest; Superlist's dearest is $1 above it. The two ladders meet in a one-dollar band and then go their separate ways.

That means the usual question — which is cheaper — has an answer only inside that band, and the answer there is trivial. Everywhere else the two are not competing on price because they are not offering plans at the same price at all. Below $20 there is no Airtable plan in our reading. Above $21 there is no Superlist one.

Airtable's second rung is where the divergence becomes plain. $45 is $24 beyond the top of Superlist's ladder — not a tier further on, but a different order of spend. A buyer who reaches that rung has left the range Superlist prices for entirely.

Superlist's ladder also carries a row named Free, for which our reading holds no figure. We record that the row exists and we do not put a number on it, because the pricing page did not give us one to record. What it allows is likewise a product question we did not read.

Neither vendor's figures move by country. We fetched both pricing pages from the United States, Britain, Germany, France and Spain, and each returned the same dollar amounts every time. So every comparison on this page holds wherever you are reading it — there is no market to select and no conversion to allow for, only the same four numbers.

Beyond the price tag

The one point of overlap

$21 against $20 — $1 apart. It is the only place on either ladder where the two vendors are asking for roughly the same money.

Below the overlap, only one vendor is present

$5 sits $15 below Airtable's cheapest plan. In our reading Airtable publishes nothing at that level, so at the bottom of the market this is not a comparison.

Above it, only the other one is

$45 is $24 above the top of Superlist's ladder, and $25 above Airtable's own entry plan. Superlist has no rung to put beside it.

A free row without a figure

Superlist's ladder carries a row named Free. Our reading holds no price for it, so we do not print one — the row is recorded as existing and nothing more is claimed about it.

Neither price moves by country

Both pricing pages returned the same dollar figures from all five countries we read. Every difference on this page therefore holds in each of them, without a market being named.

Questions people actually search

Which is cheaper, Airtable or Superlist?

Superlist, at every point where both are present — but they are barely both present anywhere. Its entry plan is $15 below Airtable's cheapest, and its top plan is $1 above it. Beyond that one-dollar band the two do not offer plans at comparable prices.

Does Superlist have a free plan?

Its ladder carries a row named Free in our reading, but the page gave us no figure to record for it, so we do not state one. What that row includes is not something we read.

What is Airtable's most expensive plan?

$45 in our reading, which is $25 above its own entry plan and $24 above anything Superlist publishes.

Do these prices change depending on where I am?

Not in our readings. Both vendors returned the same dollar figures from the United States, Britain, Germany, France and Spain, which is why this page carries no per-market table of its own.

THE VERDICT, ONE MORE TIME

If your budget is anywhere below Airtable's entry, Superlist is the only one of the two with plans there — $5 and $21 against a ladder that starts at $20.

The two overlap at a single point. Superlist's top plan is $1 above Airtable's cheapest, and its entry plan is $15 below it. Below that line Airtable publishes nothing at all.

Both ladders were read from the vendors' own pricing pages, from five countries in turn, each table dated. Both returned identical US dollar figures from all five, so the differences here are simple subtractions with no market attached and no conversion involved. Where a row is recorded without a price, we say so rather than supplying one. What each plan contains is a product question the pricing pages do not answer in figures, and neither does this page.
