Systeme.io vs Teachable: roughly half the price at every rung, and one tier that has no opposite number
How to read this page: every number below was read from the vendor’s own public pricing page on the date shown, and the pages are re-checked daily. Currencies differ because that is what each vendor showed an EU visitor. Some links on this page are affiliate links — if you subscribe through one we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Per our method, that never changes a number or a verdict. Source links always point to the vendor’s plain page.

Source: https://teachable.com/pricing · read 2026-10-13 (UTC) · Three published tiers, and unusually the page shows both billing figures on the same card — the monthly rate and the annual equivalent with 'Billed annually' beneath it — so nothing has to be clicked to compare them. Annual saves 25.6% on Starter, 22.5% on Builder and 26.5% on Growth, and the page advertises no single headline percentage, which is consistent with the savings differing by tier. Read in a browser on the date shown above with the billing switch clicked.
Teachable quotes USD worldwide — identical figures from our United States, United Kingdom and EU readers, read 2026-10-13.
What the record says
Both vendors publish three paid tiers and both quote dollars to every country we read them from — the United States, Britain, Germany, France and Spain — at the same figures each time. That is worth saying first because it is rare on this site: there is no currency puzzle here, the ladders can simply be set beside each other, and the answer is the same in every market.
Systeme.io runs $17, $47, $97. Teachable runs $39, $89, $189. Rung for rung, Systeme is the cheaper platform, and the gap is consistent rather than concentrated: it is there at the entry seat, it is there in the middle, and it is there at the top.
The one place the two ladders stop corresponding is Systeme's middle tier. It is named for webinars, and Teachable's middle tier is not — so the comparison at that rung is between a plan organised around one capability and a plan organised around another. Comparing $47 to $89 tells you which costs less; it does not tell you they are the same product, and this page does not claim they are.
What the price gap does not tell you is whether the cheaper platform does your job. This site compares what vendors publish, and what these two publish is a price. A course platform is bought for what happens after the sale — how it handles students, payments, refunds, the tax position on digital goods in the countries you sell into — and none of that is on a pricing page for us to read. Take the gap as the size of the question, not as the answer to it.
One reading note. Teachable's Spanish figures come from an older capture than the other four markets, and its French read returned considerably more observations than the rest. Neither affects the figures quoted here, which agreed across markets, but the Spanish date is the one to check first if you are buying from Spain and the number matters.
Beyond the price tag
Entry tier
$17 against $39. The widest proportional gap on the page.
Top tier
$97 against $189. The gap holds at the top of both ladders rather than closing.
The middle rungs are not the same product
Systeme's is a webinar tier at $47; Teachable's is $89. Comparable on price, not on purpose.
Same figures in every market
Both vendors quoted dollars to all five countries we read, at identical amounts. The ordering does not change with the border.
Which means no local price on either
Neither publishes a euro or a sterling figure, so a European buyer carries the exchange rate whichever they choose.
No annual rate published
Neither vendor showed an annual-billing figure to any market we read, so every yearly number here is twelve of the monthly one.
Questions people actually search
Which is cheaper, Systeme.io or Teachable?
Systeme.io, at every tier: $17 against $39 at the entry, and $97 against $189 at the top. Because both vendors quote the same dollar figures to every market we read, that ordering is the same wherever you are buying from.
Are the middle tiers comparable?
On price, yes; on purpose, not really. Systeme's middle plan is a webinar tier at $47 and Teachable's is $89. One is organised around running webinars and the other is not, so the cheaper figure at that rung is not evidence of the same product costing less.
Do either price in euros or pounds?
Neither, in anything we read. Both returned dollars to Britain, Germany, France and Spain as well as to the United States. The amount that reaches a European statement therefore depends on the card issuer's rate on the day and any foreign-transaction fee — a cost on both options that neither vendor publishes.
Does the price gap mean Systeme.io is the better choice?
It means the bill is smaller. Whether that is the better choice depends on what the tiers contain, and this page does not compare that — a pricing page does not say how a platform handles students, refunds or the tax position on digital goods where you sell. Read the gap as the size of the question rather than the answer.
THE VERDICT, ONE MORE TIME
Systeme.io is the cheaper platform at every tier we hold: $17 against $39 to begin with, and $97 against $189 at the top.
The gap is not a single-tier quirk — it holds the length of both ladders, and it is wide. Systeme's top plan costs about half of Teachable's top plan, and its entry plan is well under half of Teachable's entry plan. If the two products do the job you need, the bill is not a close call.
Both ladders come from the vendors' own pricing pages, read from each market in turn through that market's own exit. Systeme.io was read on 2026-09-04 in all five markets. Teachable was read on 2026-09-04 for the United States, Britain, Germany and France, and on 2026-08-29 for Spain — the Spanish figures are the oldest on this page and are dated rather than refreshed into agreement with the others. Both vendors returned dollars to every market, so no conversion is applied or implied anywhere here. Neither published an annual-billing rate to any market we read, so yearly figures are twelve monthly payments and nothing else. This page compares published prices; it does not compare what the tiers contain, which is not on a pricing page for us to read. The method →
