What the record says
For years the honest one-line review of Flodesk was: everyone else charges by list size, Flodesk charges $38 flat, forever — do the maths for your list. That review is now obsolete by Flodesk's own hand. Their pricing FAQ states the flat-rate unlimited plan was retired for new members on December 2, 2025, and pricing now scales with active subscriber count like the rest of the category. New signups get the category-standard deal, from the brand whose whole identity was refusing it.
So the comparison becomes ordinary arithmetic, and at 1,000 subscribers it isn't close. A daily sender with 1,000 subscribers blows through that cap in week one and needs Power at $25 — at which point the two entry prices meet, and the choice comes down to what else each $25 buys.
