MailerLite vs Mailjet
Both ladders below were read from the vendors’ own pricing pages, in this market, on the dates shown. Nothing is converted: what you see is what each page showed a reader here.
What each one is
MailerLitesite ↗pricing ↗
A deliberately simple email marketing tool: newsletters, automations, landing pages and forms, aimed at creators and small businesses who want the essentials without a suite around them. Paid plans start at $12/mo (Comfort); a free plan exists. The ladder we hold runs 2 paid tiers, topping out at $25/mo (Power). MailerLite is already the cheap answer in this category, so people leaving it are usually after something it does not do rather than a lower bill.
Mailjetsite ↗pricing ↗
An email service covering both marketing campaigns and transactional sending, with collaborative template editing. Paid plans start at $9/mo (Starter); a free plan exists. The ladder we hold runs 3 paid tiers, topping out at $29/mo (Premium). We read the same $9/mo in every market we check, so this vendor does not price by country. It quotes USD here rather than local currency, so your bank sets the conversion. Its published prices moved on 2026-09-11 — the change log holds the rows.

Where they differ
- Cheapest way in: Mailjet at $9/mo, against MailerLite at $12/mo. That is the entry price in this market on the dates shown, not a judgement about which suits you.
- Free plans: both publish one — a plan priced at zero, not a trial. What each caps differs.
- How far each ladder goes: MailerLite tops out at $25/mo, Mailjet at $29/mo. A deeper ladder is not a worse deal — it is a bill that keeps climbing if you keep growing.
- Recently moved: Mailjet (2026-09-11). A change only counts once a second clean read agrees.
- Mailjet: We read the same $9/mo in every market we check, so this vendor does not price by country. It quotes USD here rather than local currency, so your bank sets the conversion.
How to choose in this category
- Most tools price by list size — a quoted price is only true at a stated subscriber count, so re-check the ladder at yours.
- Free tiers differ in what they cap: subscribers, sends or features. Two ‘free plans’ are rarely the same thing.
- Headline prices are often the annual-billing rate; the pay-monthly figure sits higher.
